Free ATS resume checkerSee your CV the way an ATS does.
Paste the job you are applying for, add your CV, and get the score, the requirements it could not find, and what to change — in about ten seconds. No CV yet? Build one in Hinglish. Just want it to look better? Pick a new design.
This runs the same scoring engine companies hiring on HireOrbit use to screen applicants. You are seeing the side of it they see.

One place for your CV
Check it, fix it, build it, dress it.
Everything a CV needs before it goes out, free and with no account — and nothing you type is kept.
No CV yet? Build one the way you talk.
Six short questions. Write what you did in English, Hindi or Hinglish — or just say it — and get proper CV lines back. Nothing you did not tell us goes in.

• Built a React attendance app for college, used by 200 students
Happy with the words? Change the design.
Upload your CV and see it in every layout — 8 free, with or without a photo, single column or two. Same words, set properly, as PDF or Word.
Applying somewhere? Fix it for that job.
Paste the advert and see what the screen will miss. Every change sits on the line it belongs to, shows how far it moves your score, and goes in only if you accept it.

The method
What the score actually measures.
Three things, each checked against the job you pasted rather than against a general idea of a good CV.
What the role asked for
Every requirement named in the advert, checked against your CV — and only counted as found if the words are genuinely there.
How the evidence reads
Whether a skill is named in passing, or shown in work you actually did, with the scale attached.
Whether it parses
Layouts that read beautifully and extract badly are the quiet reason good applications disappear before anyone sees them.
The steps
Three things, about ten seconds.
No account, no upload history, no email at the end of it.
The whole advert — requirements, responsibilities, all of it.
The score is against this one job, not a general rating of your CV. Paste more and the match gets sharper, because there is more for the scorer to check against.
Questions
Before you upload anything.
Mostly about what happens to your CV, which is the right thing to ask first.
Yes. The check, the line-by-line changes, the CV builder and 8 designs are free, with no account. A fair-use limit only stops automated abuse. Free designs carry a small "Made with HireOrbit" at the foot of the page; a few designed layouts and the LaTeX file are paid extras, and you never need them.
No. Every tool works without an account. Sign in with your email — no password — only if you want to save a half-filled CV and finish it later, or keep the CVs you make.
Yes. Answer six short sections — about you, education, internships and jobs, projects, skills, and anything else — and we write it up as a one-page CV. Your answers are saved on your device as you go; sign in with your email and they are saved to your account too, so you can finish later on any device.
Yes. Where the builder asks what you did, write it however it comes out — English, Hindi, Hinglish, broken English — or speak it. It comes back as clear English CV lines. Nothing you did not tell us is added: no numbers, tools or results you never gave.
Yes. Upload it and see it in every layout, with or without a photo, single column or two. Your words stay exactly as they are; only the design changes. Download it as a PDF or a Word file.
Every design is real, selectable text that our check reads back without losing a word. Single-column designs are the safest for online application portals; two-column ones are kept in one piece per column, but some older screening systems still mix columns up.
Not unless you ask us to. A CV you check or re-design is read in memory and discarded, and the result lives only in your browser tab. If you sign in and press Save, we keep what you saved — your builder answers or your CV — until you delete it, which you can do yourself at any time from My CVs. Photos are never saved.
Above 70 generally means your CV is a plausible match for that specific job. Between 45 and 70 there is usually a real case that is not being made clearly enough. Below 45, the CV as written would struggle to get past a first pass. The score is always against the one job description you pasted, not a rating of your CV in general.
Most often the words. A screening system matches the requirements in the advert against the text of your CV, so experience described in different language than the posting uses does not register as a match. This tool lists the exact requirements the job asked for that your CV does not mention.
PDF, Word (.docx and .doc) and plain text. A PDF exported from a word processor reads best; a scanned image of a CV has no text to extract.
Yes. You accept the changes you agree with one at a time, then download the result in any of our designs as a PDF or a Word document. Nothing is applied to your CV unless you accept it.
